DUBAI AI AND WEB 3.0 CAMPUS: FUELING INNOVATION WITH NEW LICENSES

The Dubai AI and Web 3.0 Campus, located in Dubai International Financial Centre, will issue licenses for AI and Web3 activities, including DLT services, specialized AI research, IT infrastructure building, tech R&D, and public networking.

These licenses will be granted by Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a leading global financial hub in the MEASA region, housing a tech ecosystem at the DIFC Innovation Hub.

The campus is dedicated to AI and Web3 innovation, offering advanced physical and digital infrastructure within DIFC Innovation One premises. It provides R&D facilities, accelerator programs, and collaborative workspaces to support regional firms.

Launched this year, the campus is backed by Dubai’s regulatory framework aligned with the vision of becoming an AI and Web3 global leader.

The campus enhances Web3 development accessibility, leveraging technologies like blockchain, AI, IoT, and the metaverse. Virtual assets in Web3 decentralized systems made up 40% of the global economy in 2021, with a projected transaction value of $150-300 billion by 2025.

Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of DIFC Innovation Hub, stated the campus will grant licenses to innovative AI and Web3 companies, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation. It strengthens Dubai’s tech business appeal and attracts global talent and investors.
